RESEARCH INTERESTS

Clara is a first year Ph.D. student in the Department of Fisheries and Wildlife at Michigan State University. She earned a B.Sc. degree in Environmental and Resource Management in 2013 and an Erasmus Mundus M.Sc. in Coastal and Marine Engineering and Management in 2015. Clara works in Dr. Kramer’s lab on a NASA funded project looking at the socio-ecological impacts of climate change and dam construction in the Lower Mekong River Basin. This is a multi-disciplinary project with a remote sensing, a hydrological modelling and a social science component. Clara is part of the “social” team and among other things, supports the analysis of ecosystem service trade-offs.
