BIOGRAPHY

Zhongbin Li has been a tenured Full Professor in the School of Remote Sensing and Information Engineering, Wuhan University, China since July 2021. Prior to that, he was employed by Prof. David P. Roy as a Postdoc at the Geospatial Sciences Center of Excellence (GSCE) at South Dakota State University from July 2016 to May 2019 and as a two-year Fixed Term Assistant Professor at the Center for Global Change and Earth Observations (CGCEO) at Michigan State University from May 2019 to May 2021. He received his Ph.D. in Remote Sensing from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University in 2016. So far, he has published 11 papers in Remote Sensing of Environment. He serves as an Editorial Board Member for the Journal of Remote Sensing, which is a Science partner journal. He is leading the 3SD lab at Wuhan University to conduct research for scientific discoveries and sustainable development using big satellite data.
