Guidelines for participants:
- Your Stay in Tashkent
Every effort has been made to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable.
If we can do anything additional to make your stay more pleasant, please contact OLGA KARPOVA at july_272001@yahoo.com or +998 (71) 276-39-70 . Please note that NATO and the conference organizers will not provide health or accident insurance for your stay in Tashkent .
- Expenses
- Participants will be reimbursed for expenses related to travel and lodging up to the maximum amount of the financial commitment made in writing by the Center for Global Change and Earth Observations. Commitments were made in Euro in accordance with the budget figures submitted to NATO in the workshop application. The USD-Euro conversion rate secured at the time of transfer of funds from NATO was 1.36 USD : 1 Euro. Reimbursement will be determined based on typical cash conversion rates from foreign currencies to US Dollars on the date expenses were invoiced/incurred.
- All additional expenses like drinks, wine, telephone calls, etc. are not reimbursable and are the responsibility of each participant.
- Non-US participants and key speakers will be reimbursed in cash (USD) on the final day of the workshop. US participants and key speakers will be reimbursed via check after their return to the United States .
- Original receipts must be provided at the time of reimbursement.
- Original ticket stubs for return airfare must be mailed to:

- Proceedings
Some suggestions for the main Speakers + Contributors:
- Proceedings will be published by Springer Publishers.
- Each Speaker is allocated number of pages as follows:
- one hour talks : 15 pages
- half hour talks : 8 pages
Further instructions for Camera ready typescript will be available at the web-site of the Workshop by mid-October.
Each Speaker is required to provide his Camera ready typescript.
An electronic file of the contribution in required format should to be sent to Kyle Evered at ktevered@msu.edu .
The deadline for submission is November 30, 2007.
